Bulk data products
We provide a variety of bulk data products that are intended to suit the requirements of large companies, research organisations, libraries and other IP offices. These products contain bibliographic and image data captured in our databases when an application for an IP right is made or updated.

Our online search facilities are intended to satisfy the vast majority of data requests. These are freely available using:
- ATMOSS (for Trade Marks)
- AusPat (for Patents)
- PBR Database (for Plant Breeders Rights)
- ADDS (for Designs)

Trade Marks Data
Trade marks data is available from 1906 onwards, however only limited data is available from the early years. The data is approximately 12 GB in size and consists of XML and JPG formats. The complete backfile is AU$1200, with free regular online updates. As the data is supplied in XML format it requires a purpose built database system, which is not available from us.
Patent Bibliographic Data
Patent bibliographic data is available in XML data from 1920 onwards, however only limited data is available from 1920-1979. The data is approximately 460 MB in size. The complete backfile is AU$900, with free regular online updates. As the data is supplied in XML format it requires a purpose built database system, which is not available from us.
Patent Specifications
Patent specifications are available in PDF format with limited supporting bibliographic data in XML format, from 1904 onwards. The data is approximately 2.4 TB in size. The complete backfile is AU$1800, with free regular online updates. As the supporting bibliographic data is supplied in XML format it requires a purpose built database system, which is not available from us.
PBR Bibliographic Data
Plant Breeders Rights (PBR) bibliographic data is available online (no password is required).
PBR Images
PBR images are available in JPG format from 1988 onwards. The data is approximately 250 MB and is available free of charge. Please note that regular online updates are not available for this product.
Designs Data
Not currently available in bulk format.
