ISO 9001 certification
We were one of the first IP offices in the world to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification for our key customer transactions. To gain certification, we were assessed by an independent auditor as meeting all of the requirements set out under the standard.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001:2008 is the international standard for quality management systems. The standard places an internationally recognised best practice framework on the organisation with a focus on our customers, leadership, involvement of our people, monitoring of our performance and a process approach to continuous improvement.
Maintaining ISO certification
As part of the certification process, we undergo regular health checks by our external assessor to confirm that we continue to meet the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. To keep certification we are required to reapply every three years.

Implementing an internationally recognised best practice approach to our business is an important part of our relationship with our customers. The implementation of a quality management system is central to our vision of delivering robust IP rights effectively.
