Freedom of Information Amendment (Reform) Act 2010

Following our notification on 1 September 2010, customers are reminded that the Freedom of Information Amendment (Reform) Act 2010 passed through Parliament 13 May 2010 takes effect from 1 November 2010.

Changes brought about by the reform include the removal of the application fee, currently $30.00 and the removal of the internal review fee, currently $40.00. The removal of these fees will take effect from 1 November 2010.

Additional changes relating to publication of information will take effect in May 2011.
