Changes to Trade Mark Renewal Reminder Notices

Due to the 10 year timeframe between renewal periods the Renewal Reminder Notice will now be issued on two separate occasions. This notice will now be issued at four months and again at two months prior to the Renewal Due Date, if payment for renewal has not been received.
A new Final Renewal Reminder Notice will also be issued at the beginning of the six month grace period. The notice will issue when the due date for payment of the renewal fee has passed if the renewal fee has not been paid.
These changes will come into effect from 20 May 2010.
