Thanks to an exciting new partnership between IP Australia and the Australian Bankers Association (ABA), Small Business Advisers employed by the major banks will soon have a new IP Fact Sheet to give their clients.
The new Fact Sheet, 'Attention, all business owners: Protect the value within!' has been developed specifically for the banking industry and their clients.
The ABA works with its 26 member banks to provide analysis, advice and advocacy and contributes to the development of public policy on banking and other financial services. Small Business Advisers are specialists who provide advice on topics as diverse as starting or growing a business, business planning, banking products and financing. With the advent of the new IP Fact Sheet, they will be in a better position to recognise an IP issue and assist their clients.
The ABA will provide the fact sheet to member banks and will advise IP Australia of contact details at each bank. With ABA'S support and recommendation, we will commence working with individual banks to discuss how IP information can best be provided to banking customer.
