Dream Shield - A Win for Corporate Social Responsibility

The Australian Marketing Institute honoured IP Australia's Dream Shield with the national award for corporate social responsibility in Sydney recently.
The 2011 Awards for Marketing Excellence were fiercely contested by some of Australia's top advertising agencies and marketing professionals. Dream Shield impressed judges not only for its strategic approach and measurable impact, but also its social contribution to raising IP awareness.
Dream Shield helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders build stronger businesses by making better use of the IP system. Launched by Senator Kim Carr last November, the resources have been popular amongst the Indigenous business community.
IP Australia is proud to have won this category, and is grateful for the involvement of Indigenous innovators and business people for sharing their stories and inspiring a generation of Indigenous business owners.
Dream Shield's win is an independent endorsement of IP Australia's approach to education, awareness and social responsibility.
