Opportunities in Patent Examination
Relocation
Examiner of Patents positions are currently based in Canberra. IP Australia is in the process of establishing a Patent Examination Hub in Melbourne. The Hub is expected to commence operations in late February 2009.
As a successful applicant, IP Australia will meet reasonable costs within Australia, associated with:
- Travel costs from current place of residence to take up a position;
- Relocation of dependents, furniture and household effects; and
- Temporary short term accommodation
