IP Australia managed a number of other exciting initiatives throughout 2004 to continue the celebrations. There were celebrations for staff including a special afternoon party at our Canberra premises, and a colour liftout featured in both The Canberra Times and The Australian newspapers on 13 February 2004.

Gala Dinner
IP Australia's centenary was celebrated at the gala dinner of the 85th Institute
of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (IPTA) conference on 25 March 2004 at the
National Museum of Australia. IP Australia's commemorative publication, 'Imagination - 100 Years of Bright Ideas in Australia' was launched by the Hon
