eServices gives you online access to a range of IP Australia's transactions and services. It's easy to use and you can begin transacting with us by completing the registration and login process.

Why do I need to register?

eServices provides our users with access to a range of transactions and services, and will overtime, facilitate a portfolio view of the user's IP rights.  eServices also records an eService transaction history that includes financial and personal details. For eServices to be able to securely provide these features, IP Australia has introduced robust security protocols. These protocols include the registration and login processes.

The Registration Process

The registration process can be separated into four distinct sections. These are the Terms and Conditions, User details, Customer details and Activation.

Terms and Conditions

Once you decide to register for eServices you need to read, accept and agree to be legally bound by our Terms and Conditions relating to the eServices portal. These Terms and Conditions explain our obligations and your obligations in any dealings or transactions you conduct with us. If you choose to decline our Terms and Conditions you will not be able to access the eServices portal.

User Details

The details you need to complete in this section relate to you personally as a user of the eServices system. Firstly you'll need to provide your name, a current email address for yourself, a username and a password.

You'll also need to provide three secret question(s) and answer(s). Secret questions can assist you to access the eServices portal if you ever forget your password and / or username. They may also be used by IP Australia to help verify your identity if you contact us by phone.

Customer Details

The details you need to complete in this section relate to the customer. If you are representing an organisation, for example an attorney firm, the firm would be considered the customer and you would need to provide the required details for your firm. If you are an individual user and represent yourself then the customer details section would relate to you personally.

If you are representing an organisation you will need to provide their Australian Company Number (ACN), Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN) and / or Australian Business Number (ABN).

Activation

Once you have completed all the required fields you will receive an email that has an activation key. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the activation process and login to use eServices.
