How to pay


We accept cash, cheque, money order, debit or credit card (MasterCard and Visa). Cheques should be made payable to IP Australia.

Payment can be made: 

  • by secure fax (for credit cards only) include a Payment Form.
  • by post (for credit cards, cheques and money orders) include a completed Payment Form.
  • in person at our IP lodgement points or at our office in Canberra (cash, cheque, money order, debit or credit card)
  • by electronic funds transfer (EFT).

If you would like to pay by EFT payment at the bank or via the internet, you should fill out an EFT form. It is your responsibility to include a reference number of up to 18 characters. We prefer that you quote your application or registration number/s in your reference where possible. If using EFT please ensure you send us the EFT form as failure to do so may affect your IP right. The date of your transaction will be the date that money arrives in our account not the date you undertake the transfer. This can be up to 10 working days, so please enure you allow sufficient time for this method of payment.
