These fees are subject to change. GST does not apply to these statutory fees under Division 81 of the GST Act 1999.

Applying for a trade mark

From 1 December 2012 the approved means for filing a new trade mark application is using eServices, or by Business to Business (B2B) for approved businesses.

Our fees include incentives for customers to use an approved means for specific transactions. Customers that file in this way will benefit through a lower fee. Read more information about approved means.

The lower fee does not apply when filing a new trade mark application using mail, facsimile or at an IP Lodgement Counter.

Applying for a trade mark using eServices

Extensions of time

Renewing a trade mark

From 1 July 2012 the approved means for renewing a trade mark is using eServices, or by Business to Business (B2B) for approved businesses.

When renewing a trade mark by another means from 1 July 2012 (for example by mail, facsimile or at an IP Lodgement counter) the lower fee will not apply.

If you are paying directly to the International Bureau, you must use the fee calculator on the WIPO website to calculate the amount due in Swiss francs.
