Once your IP right has been granted you will need to maintain and manage it like you would for any other business asset.

IP rights may be subject to renewal periods and fees, and failure to maintain your IP may jeopardise your rights to exploit it.

As your business and products grow or change you may need to consider amending your IP right to ensure that your rights are still protected.
