Any request for an amendment to a patent, trade mark, design or plant breeder's right will be assessed by an examiner.
A patents amendment form is available online, which you can print out and post or fax to us.
There are various restrictions and conditions associated with amending trade marks.
Certain amendments can be made to design applications prior to registration, but the amendment can not alter the scope of what was originally lodged.
