Green Companies
Leading organisations that are researching and developing clean and sustainable technologies.
GridX Power
GridX Power is an energy service provider bringing sustainable energy solutions to communities by using efficient, leading edge technologies.
Their trigeneration systems are used to deliver power through the deployment of waste heat for heating and also cooling applications.
GridX Power's local generators provide electricity to consumers and the main grid, which provide buildings with a constant supply of power.
As a result, energy excellence ensures GridX Power's delivery of cleaner and more reliable power, with maximum energy efficiency.
CSR Edmonds
CSR Edmonds is a leading global player in natural and hybrid ventilation systems that reduce the power consumption in industrial, commercial and domestic buildings.
The Company's mission is to produce Technologies for a Sustainable future.
Ecoflex
Ecoflex is a construction and civil engineering company with ingenious solutions for reusing and recycling rubber waste, notably tyres and conveyor belts.
Ecoflex's conversion of waste products results in the creation of building products which are highly cost effective, technically effective and ecologically effective. As a result, Ecoflex's technology achieves low-cost, sustainable solutions for civil construction and building development.
DoloMatrix International Limited
DoloMatrix International Limited provides unique solutions for the cost effective treatment and destruction of hazardous wastes, together with contaminated site remediation technologies.
The DoloMatrix group of companies is dedicated to the improvement of the global environment. Through their patented Plascon® waste destruction technology; they are making a viable contribution in reducing greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere. In the last financial year, Plascon® technology was used to eliminate a quantity of greenhouse gases, equivalent to the CO2 released by almost 1 million medium sized cars. Plascon units are also selling overseas and are destroying up to 40 tonnes per month of Ozone Depleting gas in Australia.
Hunwick Consultants
Hunwick Consultants sought to be innovative and entrepreneurial, always seeking to minimise the environmental impacts and enhancing the sustainability of all approaches to electricity generation.
Two areas have been a particular focus of interest for Hunwick over the last couple of decades: utilising the energy content of the millions of tonnes of black sludge that are a byproduct of the coal preparation process (coal washery tailings); and, encouraging resort to non-evaporative ways of rejecting the vast quantities of waste heat that are a byproduct of coal, gas, and other thermal power stations-in short, to conserve water.
Hunwick is also developing an integrated process that promises to secure the permanent disposal of carbon dioxide. This is using silicate minerals that are abundant around the world, by accelerating the natural geological carbon cycle whereby these minerals form stable mineral carbonates that are already abundant in the environment.
Spark Solar Australia
Spark Solar Australia is an Australian company which will manufacture and export state-of-the-art screen-printed solar cells to solar panel makers. The R&D program will develop home-grown, more efficient cell technologies.
Spark will develop for commercialisation a second product, the Angled Buried Contact ('ABC') cell. ABC Cells have the potential for an efficiency of at least 17% (using multi-crystalline silicon wafers), which represents a significant increase over the global industry standard, by removing shading losses.
Windworks Engineering
The founders of Windworks are primarily motivated by the need to provide alternative energy for the planet. By finding the most efficient way of harnessing wind power, the world energy problem can be partly solved.
After extensive research into renewable energy innovation, Windworks has acquired the intellectual property for the design, manufacture and production of unique and exciting Vertical axis wind turbines.
Clean TeQ
Clean TeQ is an Australian environmental and mining services group focused on developing, commercialising and selling air purification, metal recovery and water purification technologies.
They develop and commercialise sustainable technologies with the strong belief that there is always a better way to use nature's resources.
Clean TeQ is a world leader in air technologies for the control of odour and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Their products include BioFiltration, BioTrickling Filters, Fluidised Bed Scrubbers, Regenerative Thermal Oxidisers and Activated Carbon systems.
Their revolutionary continuous ion exchange (Clean-iX®) and membrane processes (Clean-Mem, Clean-MBR) offer solutions to challenging problems in Water and Wastewater treatment.
In Mining the Clean-iX® cLX and cRIP processes represent the future in hydrometallurgy in particular for gold, uranium and other base metals. It provides customers with higher recoveries, lower costs and reduced environmental impact.
