This information enables IP Australia to control the interaction people (both internal and external) have with IP Australia’s resources.

Information that uniquely identifies:

•           People (e.g. pass numbers and user ids and shared secret information that people use to authenticate their identities)

•           Other resources (e.g. systems and rooms)

•           Access permissions that people (in particular roles) have with a resource (e.g. access to a room or administrative access to a database).

Access and Security

These records are for official use only so access is limited to those with a need to know. The public would not have access to these records under FOI because their release would cause damage to IP Australia’s security.
