About Australian Design Search
We listened to your feedback and have developed the next generation of intellectual property rights search system. By combining the user needs of search professionals, a full suite of search options and cutting-edge combined image recognition and machine-learning technology, we have improved search efficiency and accuracy, and provided better access to intellectual property data.
Applying for an IP right to protect your idea can be critical if you want to build a business and establish your presence in a market. Registered designs protect the visual appearance of a product. Today, approximately 7000 new products are protected by design registrations each year in Australia. These registrations vary from new dress designs through to mobile phones and cars and a range of other objects in between.
