National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology, running from the 11 to 19 August. Thousands of Australian students, scientists, chefs and musicians are taking part in events across the nation.
National Science Week is designed for everyone – it’s definitely not restricted to schools and universities – with events, activities, talks and shows for every age group. Here are some ways you can help celebrate:

It’s an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Australian scientists’ to the world of knowledge. It also encourages the general public to take an interest in science and to be fascinated by the world we live in.
