Improving our customer correspondence for all IP Rights

Following user research conducted as a part of our recent website redesign and transition to electronic correspondence, we’re redesigning our correspondence sent to customers across all intellectual property (IP) rights.

This redesign forms part of a range of initiatives to create a seamless customer experience and will align our correspondence with our website, online services and search systems.

The new-look electronic correspondence for trademarks will be released in August 2016 and will be progressively released for patents, plant breeder’s rights and designs over the 2016 - 2017 financial year.
To keep our customers informed of these changes, we will publish updates on our social media and in the Australian Official Journal of Trade marks before changes commence.
