The IP Statistics for Decision Makers conference (IPSDM) is a two-day event that examines how intellectual property data, statistics and analysis can be used to inform decision-makers in both the public and private sectors. It also aims to identify key information needs and possible shortcomings in this area and will discuss the latest empirical evidence based on IP statistics.
This year’s conference will be hosted by IP Australia in beautiful Sydney, Australia on 15-16 November 2016.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr Francis Gurry, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Registrations open in March with early-bird prices of $400 per person available until 30 May 2016. Registration includes access to all conference sessions, a cocktail dinner reception, and a chartered cruise on famous Sydney Harbour.
