Trade Mark Protect is a tailored insurance product offered by BMS Risk Solutions as a pilot program that can help you cover legal costs if you face disputes against your trade mark, both before and after it is registered.
What Trade Mark Protect covers
Trade Mark Oppositions Cover
When you apply for a trade mark there will be a period of time where a third party can challenge its registration. For example, if they think it’s too similar to their own. This cover will help with the legal expenses to give your application the best chance.
Registered Trade Mark Cover
If a third party believes that you are not using your trade mark or that it shouldn’t have been registered, they can apply for it to be removed. This cover will help with the legal expenses to defend your business.
BMS Risk Solutions is the provider of Trade Mark Protect. An approved panel of intellectual property experts are available to help if you have a claim.
If you are a trade mark attorney you can also contact BMS for more information on how to become an approved provider.
