
The trade mark may only be applied to plywood that conforms to the AS/NZS 2269.0 standards in all respects. To be eligible, applicants must satisfy the EWPAA that their products:

Meet thickness tolerance above the minimum allowable thickness limit

Have an average bond quality of 5 and none below 2

Have mechanical properties with acceptable Modulus of Elasticity (MoE)

Ensure preservative retention and penetration meets hazard level H1
Participating mills must also establish an in-mill process Quality Control system and an end product internal testing audit program to ensure conformance to the National Standards. They must appoint a Quality Control officer and submit plywood samples to the EWPAA’s National Testing Laboratory that meet the required pass rate.
