Trade mark number: 
At the time of filing, this trade mark was owned by Australian Halal Development and Accreditation (AHDAA) PTY LTD. This organization is owned and managed by a team of Muslims, experienced in the meat industry, who strictly adhere to Halal standards in the Quran and Sunnah. Their objective is to certify Halal products and audit their clients’ Halal standards.

The rules governing the use of this registration certify the following 4 points:

  1. Products sold from or brought into the place of business must be strictly Halal, and be confirmed as such with appropriate packaging and labelling etc.
  2. Business premises, having previously been associated with pork or pork-related products, must be ritually cleansed by someone qualified to do so.
  3. Cross contamination between Halal and non-Halal foods, premises, equipment and utensils should be avoided.
  4. All places of business must have a suitable number of Muslim staff who are familiar with Halal standards and are capable of maintaining them.
