Products certified by the Christian Certification Authority will have been prepared in accordance with guidelines for the certification process, meaning that foods prepared have not undergone procedures that could cause concern for the Christian community and/or Christian beliefs.
  • Christian Certified food and products, means food and beverages permitted and prepared in accordance with the beliefs and teachings of Christians upon what has been described throughout many published Christian doctrines.
  • To ensure that foods and beverages do not consist of ingredients or products that may be considered unacceptable in accordance with Christian teachings.
  • To ensure that foods and beverages have not undergone procedures that undermine the tenants of the Christian faith.
  • To ensure that foods and beverages have not been prepared, processed, or stored with anything considered to be unacceptable to Christian values and beliefs.
  • Christian Certified products can be prepared in facilities that also prepare non certified products provided that there is no risk of contamination or cross contamination, and that company management are aware of potential risks and have in place procedures to minimise exposure and comply with food safety laws, international food safety regulations and standards (HACCP) based of the geographical area of manufacture including CCA requirements.

The rules governing the use of this registration certify the following main points:

  • Food and food products have been prepared in accordance with the beliefs and teachings of Christians
  • Food and food products do not consist of ingredients or products that may be considered unacceptable in accordance with Christian teachings
  • Food and food products have not been prepared, processed, or stored with anything considered to be unacceptable to Christian values and belief
  • Food and food products are prepared in an environment where there is no risk of contamination from non-certified products.

The mark must be used as a single integral design as applied for in the black and white colour as applied for. The Mark should not be manipulated in any way that alters, skews, or distorts the proportions of the Mark or the individual elements comprising the mark.
