The purity rate of Thai Hom Mali rice must be at least 92% and at most 8% of other rice, this is to allow for unintentional pollution of other rices due to cultivation, ploughing, harvest, transportation, milling and stocking in silo. Product will be assessed by the Department of Foreign Trade of Thailand for licensing of the Thai Hom Mali trade mark.
