Vocational education and training

Great ideas can help make you competitive as a small or medium business, but how do you capture the commercial benefit of those ideas?

Having a working knowledge of the intellectual property (IP) system can drive business growth by helping you to better cultivate the commercial value of your IP.

With this in mind, we have developed a comprehensive suite of competency-based IP vocational education and training (VET) resources. These have been designed to give you practical insight into protecting and profiting from your IP.

Using these resources, you can pick and choose products based on their individual needs.

Critical skills for business

Skills in IP are just as important to a future business owner as skills in financial or legal administration. These skills add value and marketability to business qualifications because IP knowledge is a critical business competency.

Benefits for training providers

Our VET resources are delivered by registered training organisations (RTOs). Each resource comes with free guidance materials including facilitation and assessment kits.
