The orbital engine, a new concept in internal combustion engines.

Originally Ralph Sarich worked with his own small engineering company which developed new agricultural equipment and later the orbital engine. In 1973, following his appearance on the ABC television show The Inventors, he was approached by BHP and a joint venture was born. The resulting Orbital Engineering Company now has some 540 patents and licensing agreements with a number of major overseas automotive and marine groups.
