When do we advertise patent examiner positions?
We generally recruit twice a year and advertise on our website and on APS Jobs.
You can register your interest in these roles at any time via the Patent Examiner Registration of Interest, we will then notify you when we are running a recruitment round.
Can I apply for the job of a patent examiner if I am not an Australian citizen?
To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian citizen. In limited circumstances roles may be open to Australian permanent residents – this will be made clear in our advertising text and position profile information at the time of advertising the vacancy.
