Are you a First Nations business owner wanting to use indigenous language or art in your branding? Are you looking for answers on what you can protect and how?

Our short webinar on developing your unique brand can help. Learn about the basics of trade marks and the unique considerations that apply when using First Nations art and language in your branding.

We will also explore how the intellectual property (IP) system can be enhanced to help protect Indigenous Knowledge (IK).

Indigenous knowledge (IK) is a term we use to cover a range of knowledge held and continually developed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people including language, art and traditional know how and practices.

This forms of IP Australia's public consultation, looking at the ways the IP system can better support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to benefit from and protect their IK.

There will be opportunities to ask questions and speak with IP experts throughout the webinar.

Registrations are essential, you can book your spot online.

We look forward to seeing you there.
