As we continue to investigate ways to align and streamline our processes, improve service delivery and reduce unnecessary delays, we invite interested parties to make written submissions on our proposal to expand the use of automated processes.
We are considering extending our use of automated processes as follows:
- to make simple, high-volume decisions involving no exercise of judgement, where clear rules are applied with rigid criteria
- to perform specific non-discretionary actions following from an earlier decision, action or lack of action.
Written submissions need to be made by 15 July 2015.
