Improving our customer correspondence for Patents

Published:
1 November 2016

We recently announced that IP Australia is improving our customer correspondence across all intellectual property rights to create a seamless customer experience and align our correspondence with our website, online services and search systems.

Following on from the successful release of our redesigned trade mark correspondence, customers can expect to receive the new-look electronic correspondence for patents from 30 November 2016.

The redesigned correspondence will also be progressively released for plant breeder’s rights and designs throughout this financial year.

To keep our customers informed of these changes, we will publish regular updates on our social media and in the Australian Official Journal of Patents before changes commence.
