Journey from an idea to its commercial delivery

The seminar will focus on highlighting some of the important issues that should be considered in order to successfully commercialise a great idea. One of the key issues to be discussed will include the importance of having a sound understanding of intellectual property and making the right decisions in terms of its formal acquisition, management and enforcement. You will also hear from a leading entrepreneur about his journey as well as other experts from industry who will help you understand how to prepare yourself for successful commercialisation, what questions to ask, and how to develop wealth from your research.

The other guest speakers include James Moody from TuShare & Sendle, Alexandra Meldrum from the Australian Graduate School of Management UNSW and Dr Steve Brodie from NSW Innovations UNSW.
