Public Release of Productivity Commission Final Inquiry Report into Australia’s IP Arrangements

The Productivity Commission’s final report on its Inquiry into Australia’s Intellectual Property (IP) Arrangements was tabled in Parliament today. The inquiry delivers on a key recommendation of the Competition Policy Review (Harper Review).

The Productivity Commission’s report is available here, together with a media release from the Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, and the Hon Craig Laundy MP, Assistant Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science. 

To inform the Government response, the Government is carrying out additional public consultation, with a particular interest in feedback on aspects of the Productivity Commission’s report that differ from the draft report.
