We recently announced Australia’s first IP Counsellor in China, David Bennett, who will provide guidance to Australian businesses on how to navigate the Chinese intellectual property (IP) system.

The Australian Embassy Beijing is seeking applications from a suitably qualified Legal Officer to support this role at the Australian Embassy in Beijing. This will primarily involve providing expertise on Chinese IP law and practice, and monitoring and analysing developments in China’s IP systems.

If you’re a bilingual IP lawyer with work experience in China we strongly encourage you to apply.

Applications addressing the selection criteria should be submitted in writing by email to the Human Resources Section of the Australian Embassy, Beijing at Applications close Wednesday 19 October 2016.
