Pricing: 
$2,200/half day, $4,500/day. Mediations are charged by the calendar day (between four and eight hours) or half day (between zero and four hours) (including GST)

Further details:

Note 1: The above rates include a preliminary conference of up to one hour at no additional charge. This preferably occurs one to two weeks before the mediation.

Note 2: Mediations which extend beyond eight hours on a single calendar day incur a surcharge of $770 per hour or part thereof (inc GST).

Note 3: Any required travel, accommodation and meals outside the Sydney metropolitan area are charged at cost.

Note 4: If the parties are unable to provide a suitable mediation venue, one will be procured at cost.

Mediation experience

Mr Argy has been a commercial solicitor, mediator and arbitrator for more than 30 years. In particular, he has mediated more than 100 intellectual property disputes.

Specialist experience and qualifications

Mr Argy has deep subject matter expertise in science, technology and intellectual property and he is also a computer programmer. He has been a Domain Name Dispute Resolution Panellist for the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) since 1999 as well as being a member of WIPO’s global Panel of Neutrals since 2002.

He has been a domain name dispute resolution panellist for LEADR and IAMA (now Resolution Institute) since commencement of the auDRP. Mr Argy also chaired the auDA Working Group which drafted the auDRP.

He is a Director and Honorary Treasurer of the Mediator Standards Board.

He was recognised by peer review as one of the best information technology lawyers in the world for more than two decades. He remains the sole Australian member of the prestigious Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center Tech List.
