Trade mark number:
The Glycemic Index Tested certification aims to indicate that products bearing the mark have been assessed by Glycemic Index Ltd to have a particular ranking according to their effects on blood sugar levels.

Through a clinically shown relationship between low Glycemic Index foods and slow digestion and absorption of foods, low GI foods provide benefits to people with diabetes and obesity.

GI is a ranking of carbohydrates in foods on a scale from 0 to 100 based on their immediate effect on blood sugar levels. Testing is performed by the Sydney University Glycemic Index Research Service (SUGIRS).
