From September 2018 to February 2019 we sought comments from stakeholders on how IK is protected, used and managed.
The aim was to identify policy options related to IP and help promote the cultural integrity and economic potential of IK.
The Protection of Indigenous Knowledge in the Intellectual Property System consultation report 2018 highlights issues raised and explores initiatives in response.
