How does it work?
Our gift register notes all the gifts and benefits we receive that are valued at over $AUD100 (excluding GST).
Why we disclose gifts and benefits
We're committed to maintaining transparency in everything we do. A public gift register ensures we remain accountable and abide by the Code of Conduct in Public Service Act 1999 (PS Act).
When being offered a gift or benefit, we consider accepting them based on:
- Impartiality
- Ethical conduct
- Accountability
- Behaving honestly and with integrity
- Avoiding any conflict of interest
- Not improperly using senior employees' status to gain a benefit or an advantage.
The Australian Public Service Commission guidelines require us to publicly disclose this information within 28 days of receipt. We're required to publish our register quarterly.
