Issue summary

Regulation 1.3(7) of the Patent Regulations specifies that certain periods are to be calculated using rule 80.2 of the Regulations under the Patent Cooperation Treaty set out in Schedule 2A.

The reference to Schedule 2A is redundant as it was repealed by Item 79 of Schedule 6 of the Intellectual Property Legislation Amendment (Raising the Bar) Regulation 2013 (No. 1). The reference to Schedule 2A should be deleted so that it refers to the definition of PCT from the dictionary contained in Schedule 1 of the Patents Act 1990.
