What are consultation groups?

Consultation groups provide us and our stakeholders with a platform to exchange information and discuss issues which could impact IP policy, practice and legislation in Australia.

Through these consultation groups, we're able to deliver new and improved services that are responsive to stakeholder needs and build trust within the industry.

Trade Marks and Designs Consultation Group

Our Trade Marks and Designs Consultation Group (TMDCG) meetings are usually held twice a year.

Our group members include:

• Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (IPTA) of Australia
• International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys of Australia (FICPI)
• International Trademark Association (INTA)
• Law Council of Australia (LCA)
• New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA)
• Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ)
• Independent Member.
