Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia in the world, and the second leading cause of death here in Australia. It is a progressive disease with the biggest risk factor being age and so far there is little hope for sufferers.

This report aims to summarise future treatments and diagnostics for this disease by examining these technologies through a patent lens and capturing international patent filings in this area since 2000.  The Patents Analytics Report on Alzheimer's Disease aims to provide a high-level examination of research focus and top applicants working in the area.
